The Power Trip Review and Giveaway (6 winners)

You know I love a fun read. It’s my guilty pleasure. I read to be entertained.

the power trip reviewThe Power Trip by Jackie Collins was right up my alley. A birthday cruise for a spoiled model hosted by a Russian billionaire whose had some shady dealings is the setting for most of this tale. Also there for the party is a senator with a really creepy appetite and his very unhappy wife. The wife has history with the journalist on board, even though he appears to be with another journalist. Throw in a movie star playboy and his girlfriend, a footballer and his materialistic wife, and a Latin singer with his much older and controlling boyfriend, and it’s like a delicious tabloid with all the drama.

Just for added excitement, there are Pirates helping a Russian mobster take revenge on the host of the cruise.

Romance and suspense: The Power Trip is definitely an exciting and fun read!

The Power Trip is available today, but I’ll be giving away copies as well!

Sometimes we all need a little guilty pleasure. I don’t think I’ve read a Jackie Collins book since high school (is that possible?) but this looks like fun escapism–beach read time.

I just finished the Midwife’s Confession which I loved. I am currently reading a book which I also love. I can’t remember the title or the author (I am so awful with that especially now with my kindle!) and am too lazy to go upstairs and check. The book is about a 13 year old boy who is accused of murder and what his parents go through as they question his innocence and a big question about the “murder gene”. It’s very good. I haven’t read a Jackie Collins book in like forever! I would love to read this one!
