I realize it’s technically still Summer, but once school starts and we’re into September, it feels more like Fall. The lazy days of Summer are behind us and the chaotic Fall days begin.
Before I get too consumed by the chaos, there are certain things I want to plan.
Plan a Fall Trip. Even just a short weekend away. I would absolutely love to do something like this trip, but I’d settle for a few days glamping in the mountains. Something to look forward to, something to break up the monotony.
Create a Fall Reading List. The start of the school year usually means less time to read, but I’m a firm believer in modeling reading for my kids, so I still find some time to read. I’ve read some amazing books so far this year. You can check out my reading list for suggestions.
Indulge in Fall Foods. Around here, we have a lot of festivals in the Fall, which bring with them some amazing dishes. Plus there are certain recipes I only make in the fall, like sweet potato casserole and pumpkin cream pie. Or maybe it’s dinner around a campfire since it’s cool enough to enjoy sitting beside a fire.
Find that Go-to Fall Outfit. Something you can throw on without even having to think about it because you know it will be cozy, fit perfectly, and get you through those busy days.
The Unity Pant from prAna is super comfortable, though with way more style than a pair of sweats. You can get it in gray(what I’m wearing) or coal. Perfect for running errands, after the gym, or hanging out at home.
The Oberlie Hoodie from prAna can pair with these pants or you can throw it on over your favorite pair of jeans. I’m wearing it in khaki rose, though there are two other colors available.
Their commitment to sustainability makes prAna stand out. I’ve found their clothes to be comfortable and high-quality. If you want to add some prAna to your fall wardrobe, you can use code ESSRF18 for 15% off your online order.
