Free Cars 3 Coloring Pages & Cars Bookmarks

What do I like the best about Cars 3? The nostalgia. My boys were so small when the first Cars movie came out and they were so enamored with it for years. Scrolling through old pictures of them, it’s funny how often they were dressed in clothes with Cars characters on them or were holding a Cars toy or that something Cars-related was in the background. That’s Lightning McQueen on my son’s shirt in this pic from 7 years ago.

I was glad that my boys still wanted to see Cars 3. I was a little worried they’d think they were too old for it, but that didn’t cross their minds. And they did like the movie. The consensus from my 12, 11, and 9 year olds was that it was much better than Cars 2, but not quite as good as the original. I’d agree with that. It would be pretty hard to beat the first Cars movie, though they watched that first one through toddler eyes, which makes it even harder to beat. But they really did enjoy Cars 3 and we’ll watch it again once it’s out on DVD… though I have to admit that I’m a little jealous of those of you who took littles to see it- their excitement is magical.
