Type A Parent Conference Discount and Why You Should Go!

Blog conference season is in full swing. Have you decided what conferences you are headed to this year?

One of the first conferences that I attended was Type A Parent Conference. This summer, I’ll head there for my third time: it’s a can’t-miss for me.  I’m thrilled that this year, Things I Can’t Say is Type A Parent Conference Official Partner.

Where and when is Type A Parent Conference?

This year, the conference is taking place June 22-24 in Charlotte, NC .

Why should you consider going to Type A Parent Conference?

  • It’s a very informative conference: you leave with practical tips on what you can do to improve your blogging. The speakers know their stuff and know what sort of takeaways bloggers want from conferences.
  • It’s small, but big enough. Yes, I like to contradict myself. It’s not intimidatingly big so it’s great for a first conference. But, there are also enough attendees there that you will have plenty of opportunity to meet lots of new people.
  • The laid-back feel. Yes, at Type A. After the evening parties, there are informal patio parties where you get a chance to actually talk to other attendees in a casual setting. And as far as what to wear, anything truly goes.
You can see my Type A Parent Conference recaps: 2010 and 2011.

This one isn’t on my radar, so I’m curious. I’m a disorganized mess and I run around giving orders all the time. Does that make me anything close to type A? What does it really focus on? All of these in the South are ones I should consider for next year when I’ll finally make a conference, so any and all information or links to said would be helpful. Love you Shell!

I was a little worried about going the first time because I’m so NOT type a. But, it really is a laid-back atmosphere. I think it’s type a in really focusing on getting things done in blogging. Here’s the link to the conference site for you to check it out: http://typeaconference.com/

I heard about this conference from last year and it sounds like it’s a good one. If my due date wasn’t June 25 I’d go this year. Though, that may make for a very interesting weekend there!

How cool that you’re officially connected to the conference. I had no idea about how any of that worked so I didn’t even look into it. But you’re awesome – so that’s awesome. 🙂
