Our official count is only 17 days left of summer break. The days are flying by, so here’s your weekly reads you might have missed. When the school year is back in session, the regular guest post feature will return.
How wise and full of hope our kids can be when they’re little- which is why I adored And One Day I Just Might Fly from Kendra.
Katrina’s Carrying to Term really made me think what I’d do if I were in her situation.
Sometimes I don’t know what to say about current events. I watch and read but I don’t say anything because I don’t know what to say other than “this should never have happened and it should never happen again.” But what I can do is share words of people who are able to write eloquently about them, like Elaine did in I Thought About Sandra Bland and Jennifer did in Lessons Learned- Why We Need to Address the Past.
To end things on a lighter note because it is the weekend after all, Peyton’s Blurts of Wisdom for My Son, If He Should Ever Decide to Drink made me laugh- and think that she and I share a similar (awkward) style of parenting.
