Things They Can’t Say

things-they-cant-say-button-2Y’all! The past three mornings, I woke up with no alarm clock! It’s officially summer break here. Not that I sleep in all that much but still later than usual school mornings… and no having to get the boys up and out the door at a certain time. Ahhhh!

We’ve been hitting the pool already and here’s some of the good I’ve read once we get home from swimming and the boys crash:

My oldest had his last day of elementary school this week, but my friend Lisa’s son just finished high school. I love what she has to say about the safety zone of conversations in the car: Don’t Blink.

And because it’s that time of year, Sherri is also talking graduation with Ode to a Peanut Butter Sandwich.

When you let your child march to the beat of his own drummer and he isn’t quite Like the Boys, you simultaneously worry and rejoice.

I have to admit that I’ve done a lot of clicking away lately with a lot of the recent news stories. I read them to be informed, but oh, all the opinions on them have me completely agreeing with Kim’s People Who Should Not Have Kids (According to the Internet This Week).

We’re almost through with baseball season here and then my boys are on a much more relaxed schedule because SUMMER but being a sports mom is so much more than wins, losses, and busy schedules. Read Angela’s #sportsmom.
