Things They Can’t Say

things they can't sayAnyone else feel like we’re in some weird time warp of how the heck is Valentine’s Day next week? Yet, at the same time, I’m wishing for Spring. Or at least for the weather to feel like it- especially since my boys have 4 soccer games tomorrow. Brrr! While I go figure out just how many layers I can wear, here’s what you may have missed this week:

We all worry about our kids. Special needs parents don’t have a monopoly on this(as I’m well aware with my own three boys). Jim explains over at Just a Lil Blog.

Meal planning is something that I adore when I actually do it and regret when I don’t. It shouldn’t be hard but somehow, it really can be. If you’re looking for ideas, try Emmy Mom’s A Month of Family Meal Ideas.

We don’t make a big fuss over Valentine’s Day here. Maybe a special treat for the kids or a special meal (though usually at home because I hate dealing with the crowds). But I could get behind trying some (or all) of Wine in Mom’s Red and Pink Valentine Cocktails.
