things they can't sayDarth Vader, a Stormtrooper, and Hercules will be running wild through my house tomorrow, asking when it’s time to trick-or-treat, since somehow, we’re at the end of October. Please don’t tell me how many Saturdays there are until Christmas, because I’ll probably cry: not ready at all. The only thing I’m ready for is to share some good reads with you this week. My boys are pretty much obsessed with watching youtubers where I only watch the occasional video (and never miss Whine About It Wednesdays), but Jenni’s Friday Talking About What You’re Talking About series has become a much watch for me.

Sometimes, the best we can do as moms is try, even as we forget school dress-up days and have things fall out of our minivans at school drop-off: Tell Them Your Mom Tried.
