Tattling to Santa

Three cute little boys, all dressed up in their Christmas sweaters.

Completely amazed by the Winter Wonderland created by Santa’s elves at the mall North Pole.

They rush towards Santa and scramble for a place in his lap.

Smiling and laughing and asking for toys.

Though the youngest makes sure Santa knows, “My big brother is on the naughty list.”

They completely crack me up with their tattling.

Well, when they are tattling to someone other than me.

      They crack me up.

I think my oldest wanted to punch his little brother for that, but he didn’t want to give Santa any proof that he was naughty.

    December 19, 2011 at 2:48 pm

Awwww – so cute! I still haven’t taken my kid to see Santa. Though considering he told me I was “very very mean” – he may just tattle on me.

    • Shell says

      December 19, 2011 at 2:57 pm

We didn’t manage it until this morning.

I’m convinced that there was some sort of black hole we stumbled into- b/c there wasn’t a line!

  9. Making It Work Mom says

    December 19, 2011 at 3:18 pm

Too funny! My little one says that about my oldest all the time, except she talks to our Elf.

A few weeks ago I took my little one and my middle to see Santa. Later on in the day she was telling my oldest daughter about all the things she asked Santa for. I reminded that I had also heard Santa tell her that she needed to pick up her toys. She shot me the dirtiest look and told me to “keep to my own business”!

Luckily your boys are cute so they can get away with alot!

    • Shell says

      December 19, 2011 at 4:53 pm

No Elf here- maybe I should do that so they stop tattling to me.

  12. Ali says

    December 19, 2011 at 3:39 pm

Eh. We’ve all been on the naughty list at least once in our lives. No worries. Although he didn’t mention WHICH big brother was the naughty one.

      December 19, 2011 at 4:55 pm

I think he believes he can lay claim to any toys Santa brings his naughty brother.

    • Shell says

      December 19, 2011 at 6:34 pm

At least he was tattling to Santa instead of to me! So tired of hearing it.

  23. Foursons says

    December 19, 2011 at 5:42 pm

Oh my gosh, that is HILARIOUS! Nolan asked me a while ago how bad you had to be to get on the naughty list and I told him, “Really bad, like burn the house down bad.” He felt so much better after that. Hahaha

    • Shell says

      December 19, 2011 at 6:34 pm

Ha! Mine might take that as a challenge.

LOL…that is way too funny! Cute boys. I can’t get mine to wear sweaters πŸ™ They usually want to wear their favorite t-shirts, which are all stained and gross. Makes for a nice picture.

    • Shell says

      December 19, 2011 at 6:35 pm

So far, my boys aren’t picky about their clothes. Well, they’d prefer not to wear any, but when we are going somewhere, they pretty much are okay with whatever I hand them to put on.

  26. Kristen says

    December 19, 2011 at 6:19 pm

Oh my goodness! They couldn’t be any cuter!! (Is that even a word?! Cuter?!) I love all of the missing teeth on the one that ended up on the naughty list…LOL!

    • Shell says

      December 19, 2011 at 6:36 pm

I live on the naughty list, I think.

Any vacation kicks my ass- but Disney is especially draining! Hope you had a blast!

      • The Mommyologist says

        December 19, 2011 at 6:45 pm

It was awesome…but now I need an “adult” vacation. I’m so out of it…I almost poured coffee into my son’s cup today. πŸ˜‰

        • Shell says

          December 19, 2011 at 7:01 pm
