This post is part of a sponsored campaign with The Motherhood.
The holiday season means every day get busier with more going on. It’s so important to continue to take care of yourself during this time of year- because it’s no time to be sick!
Join The Motherhood and the Care4Today™ Mobile Health Manager team at Janssen Healthcare Innovation for a Twitter party to celebrate and support a healthy holiday season. We’ll be sharing our plans for Thanksgiving and the winter holidays, gift ideas, tips for overall health, and suggestions on remembering to care for yourself by taking medications as prescribed every day!
Care4Today™ Mobile Health Manager is a free mobile app and website with new features designed to support and motivate people to stay on schedule with their medications. You can download and use Care4Today™ Mobile Health Manager from the iTunes App Store or Google Play or register on the website.
The app has features like reminding you to take your medications and keeping track of if you do take your medication. Though my favorite feature is the refill reminder, which sets up a reminder based on how many pills you currently have and when you’d like to be reminded to refill. I have to call for my son’s refills every month and either allow enough time for them to mail me the paper script or go pick it up from the doctor’s office, so I need to call for the refill at least one week ahead of time- the Care4Today™ Mobile Health Manager will give me that reminder so I’m not scrambling to get it refilled on time.

Definitely worth tweeting about!
It’s a helpful app, for sure!
Oh this is a great service- with all of the craziness during the holidays it can be almost impossible to remember to take care of yourself like you should. Sounds like a great twitter party!
The refill part is especially helpful.
I’ve heard of this app and it sounds great. I’m always forgetting my medications (when I’m on them) and the kids’ so its important to have a daily reminder. Crossing fingers we are all healthy this winter!
We had a sickness come through our house last week- hoping that can be it for the winter!
wow, I’m excited to hear about this, especially since I’m going through withdrawal from my meds. I’ve been screwing things up and getting confused…some days not remembering to take one thing, or taking the other TWICE (I blame mommy brain & my own disorganized state). Whether it’s my birth control pills and Synthroid or the other 3 meds I’m still trying to wean from, this sounds right up my alley. We moms definitely need help in this department —- can I also manage my kids’ meds this way?
Yes- you can add their meds and give them a nickname when they come up on your alerts so you know what is what. It’s very helpful!
Such a great way to remind yourself! Things definitely get crazy and hectic this time of year!
It really does! I need reminders for everything!
Awesome, I will have to check the app out.
It’s really helpful!
The refill reminder would have to be the best part of this app! My daughter has a prescription that she has to get filled monthly and there is only a 7 day window where we can get it or she has to go back to the doctor and get another prescription written.
Oh, that’s a pain! My son’s is a pain, too, since we have to call each month to get it.
I feel so blessed that we don’t have any regular medications. Just vitamins. This sounds like a great app for managing healthcare though and it is certainly a topic worth tweeting about.
I added a reminder to take a vitamin for me because I’m so bad at remembering!
