Stronger Hair with Pantene

I was on a mission earlier this summer: find something that would make my hair feel clean.

I’m not sure exactly what was going on- if it was the humidity or just build up or what was going on, but I’d wash my hair and it still wasn’t feeling clean. I hit up Pinterest and tried multiple home recipes for a deep clean, none of which worked.

So, while my boys were at camp and I had time to really browse the aisles, I went to the store and decided to look for any shampoos that said anything along the lines of deep cleansing. The one that caught my eye was a weekly deep cleanse purifying shampoo. What had me a little unsure was that it was from Pantene.

Pantene has hair products I used back in high school and one of my college roommates used to swear by, but I hadn’t used them since. Yet, it looked promising and since Pantene products are reasonably priced, I figured I might as well try it. And my hair felt truly clean for the first time in a long time- I even wrote about it for The Soccer Moms.

Though that’s just a weekly treatment and I needed something I could use on a daily basis (or okay, an every other day basis since I don’t wash my hair every day).

Since I’d just had luck with Pantene and they have different products for different types of hair, I thought I’d give it a try. Plus, Pantene at Walmart has a 2x money back guarantee.

Since I get my hair colored, I decided to go with Pantene Color Revival and I’m happy with it so far.  Though next time, I’ll probably try Pantene Smooth & Sleek since it’s supposed to give you frizz-free hair for 72 hours and my hair loves to frizz and I have to fight it with a flat iron… though maybe that means I should try Pantene Repair & Protect since it allows you to use straighteners and curling irons without worry about damaging your hair.

Since Pantene at Walmart is very reasonably priced, I can get different kinds and see which one I like best, though the best way to protect your hair from damage is by using Pantene shampoo and conditioner together. They work together to make hair 2x stronger than shampoo alone.

What is your biggest issue with your hair? Which kind of Pantene would you try?
