I’m terrible at drinking enough water. I’ll get wrapped up in work and forget about it, not wanting to keep water right next to my laptop(one ruined computer due to a spill was more than enough for me, thank you very much).
And my kids don’t like to stop to drink water, either. Even when their coach will call a water break during practice, they’ll take a sip and then go back to playing.
So I can see why dehydration impacts 75% of Americans. It’s a hidden cause of problems like fatigue, headache, stress, and lack of focus. It can impair productivity up to 30%, reduce athletic performance and make a bad cold worse. Facts via DripDrop.
DripDrop is a powder that you mix with your water and hydrates 34% better than water alone and contains 2-3 times more electrolytes than sports drinks, while having 50% less sugar than sports drinks. It treats and prevents dehydration resulting from vomiting, diarrhea, and excessive sweating.
You can keep a packet in your bag so you always have it with you on the go and easily mix it with a bottle of water. Then drink every 1-2 hours as needed until rehydrated.
DripDrop comes in Lemon or Berry Flavors. I’ll have to be honest with you and say that I sampled the lemon and knew it wasn’t something that my boys would drink. Maybe if they were sick and had no other choice, but it’s not something they’d select on their own. Not really surprising, since lemon(unless it has a lot of sugar added) isn’t a flavor my kids gravitate towards. I’d like to try the berry and think that would be a better one to have on hand should they need it.
DripDrop could come in handy during cold and flu season or any sports season, as well.

Have you tried DripDrop? What do you drink to stay hydrated?
I would totally try this. I do drink a lot of water, but it’s boring.
I need to get some of this. I am horrible at drinking water, preferring most everything else. It causes a lot of issues when you’re pregnant and I’m trying I really am, but it’s so hard when everything runs right through you as it is.
This sounds like something I would like to try. I know I need to drink more water so this would help.
My daughter has trouble staying hydrated and goes through a lot of sports drinks. She should try this instead.
I haven’t tried Dripdrop but I should! I’m really bad at keeping up with my water!
I haven’t tried Drip Drop or heard of it until now. Sounds like it would do that job!
I just went to a Twitter party for this. I learned so much. Can’t wait to pick some up for our family.
Powder packets are so great for traveling. I can easily toss them in my purse or tote bag so that I can easily add it to bottled water.
I would rather just stick to plain water. i am not big on flavored water, although I have added fresh lemons and cucumbers to my water
I like to alternate from plain water with coconut water as it’s super hydrating, not sure if the packets would even be safe in my handbag, it’s like war zone inside my purse! LOL
Comment luv is not recognize my feed today, my post is here: http://www.ascendingbutterfly.com/2014/10/want-to-up-your-travel-photography-game.html
I printed the $2 off coupon and I am getting some of this today. I hate water and I drink very little of it. This might be my answer to my not enough water. Thanks
what a great tool. i’ll have to look into this for those days I hate drinking water
I haven’t tried Drip Drop or heard of it until now. It seems like it would be a really handy thing to have!
I think my son would like the lemon, and my daughter would like the berry. You’re right, best to keep the kind on hand you think they would gravitate towards.
I have not heard of Dripdrop. I try to drink a lot of water. I have my big glass of water next to me but I get distracted and forget to drink it.
Sounds like a great product! I find I drink more water since I started running.
I don’t have a problem with drinking water. I think hubs could benefit from this though as he doesn’t drink enough.
I just got Drip Drop myself to test out! It really does the job since I never drink enough water!
I’ve never heard of this one before. I’ve heard that hydration solutions work really well!
This is my first time ever hearing of DripDrop. I will have to check it out! I have been trying to drink more water to stay hydrated.
Hmm, I will have to check this out. I drink way too much coke and get dehydrated often!
Okay, this look so useful. Never heard of it before but I could totally use it.
I’ve never heard of Drip Drop before. Sounds like an interesting product.
Yeah! Thanks for sharing, I too, am bad at drinking enough water. I am going to go and get some of this stuff!
This is the real way to make water hydrate you effectively. It’s so smart!
I am always dehydrated. I try to drink a lot of water, but it never seems to help. I might give this a try. 🙂
I drink water to stay hydrated. Sounds like this would be great to keep on hand for when everyone gets the tummy bug.
I have never heard of this brand, but am interested in trying it! It looks like it would make water very enjoyable!
This is really neat. I haven’t heard of Drip Drop until this blog post, learn about so many awesome things in blogs these days. I will have to see about getting me some. I haven’t been keeping up with fluids as much as I usually do lately.
I’ve trained myself to like just plain water. I would like to give this a try for a special treat!
Thanks for the honest review! I would probably go for the berry!
I’ve never heard of DripDrop before but I think it would be nice to have on hand when someone in my home (especially my son) was sick to help them stay hydrated.
