So Much Better than Flowers: Yourkidvid for Mother’s Day

Tracking PixelThis is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Yourkidvid.

“I’m five, I’m five, I’m a big kid now, I’m five,” my preschooler started practicing a poem for his end of the year program. How did he get so big?

On his first day of preschool and now.

On his first day of preschool and now(3 years later)

But it was those words from the poem that really made me realize how much time is passing. I can still remember his older brother practicing that same poem. I quickly searched for that video from three years ago and sat and watched in awe the changes that have taken place.

On his last day of preschool and now(3 years later)

On his last day of preschool and now(3 years later)

Pictures bring back memories but video shows me those little things I forgot, like “anymore” being said as “endymore.”

But if you are anything like me, you have all these videos on your phone or tablet and don’t do anything with them other than occasionally rewatch them and get all teary-eyed at how big your babies have grown. I also live in fear that one of my boys will accidentally delete those videos when they are playing games on my devices.

kidvid

Yourkidvid can turn those video clips into a hand-edited mini movie you can save forever and share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and even via email(email is a must for my mom).

They’re a team of L.A. based award-winning Producers, Directors, and Editors who bring their talents to your home videos, making them hip, fun, and shareable. Graphics, color correction, sound mixing, hand-picked music – Yourkidvid brings Hollywood movie magic to your memories, turning them into a lasting cinematic experience for you. Yourkidvid provides professional video editing at affordable prices for you and the little ones you love… Starting at $29.

Wouldn’t a video of your kids make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift? Whether it’s for you(email a link to this post to your husband as a *hint, hint*) or for Grandma, Yourkidvid would create a video that would make for a memorable gift. You can also purchase a gift card that would allow your loved ones to make their own video. Certainly much more creative than what 69% of all Mother’s Day gifts are(did you watch the video to see what that gift is?)

My son has one word left he doesn’t pronounce right, ‘westaurant,’ and I got that on video recently. 😉 I like this idea for giving me a good reason to do something w/the videos we have saved!

I’ve not heard of this before now. I actually don’t have many videos at all of my now 3 year old. It’s awful. My parents videotaped everything when we were little and now we have all this technology and don’t 🙁
