Summer Bucket Lists are everywhere right now. I look at them and get ideas for what I want to do with my boys but can also feel this pressure to do THE BIG THINGS, the things that would look impressive in a pretty instagram photo, in order for my family to have a great summer.
But we don’t need to do something big and splashy or to wait for a summer day in order to live in the moment. Honestly, my budget (and my energy and stress levels) couldn’t keep up with a fancy list of must-do fun every day. Yet I can take advantage of the small moments to do something different to “Milk Life” each day.
Milk Life Challenge #14: Do Some Stargazing

Milk Life Challenge #18: Make Oodles of Doodles
When was the last time you drew something? It was probably scribbles in the margins of my notebooks in college for me… which was way too long ago. Get out the crayons, colored pencils, markers, whatever you have and let the kids draw… and draw right along with them.

Milk Life is a way of living where Milk powers you to be at your best, and where your potential is always in action. Since Milk has 8 grams of high-quality protein and 9 essential nutrients, it could be the difference between just living life… and milking it.
Which Milk Life Challenge will you take?
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
Great ideas. I think it;s all really just about spending quality time with the little people we made 🙂
I am hoping my kids and I can “milk” summer and enjoy ourselves wherever we go! From coloring to trips to the beach and everything in between.
I actually already do these with the family. =D My son loves to draw, and he’s always snagging me to draw with him.
These are all great ideas. We have always enjoyed going to the beach in the evening and stargazing.
I would take the challenge to draw oodles of doodles. That sounds like fun.
Making sure to use the strong bones and muscles milk helps people build would be a good idea. Anything active outside would be fun.
We just did the milk movie night with the family! Popcorn and milk go perfectly together! Great ideas!
Great ideas. I have always been determined to not be an over-scheduled family. I think your Milk Life Challenges are a perfect thing to be in check and not let life run you but to instead make sure you run your life.
So many great ideas! My kiddos love milk so generally we go through a ton a week on a normal regular basis anyway! But these are fun ways to incorporate!
Summer means a lot of flip-flopping in our house. Hubs and kiddo go to church camp every year. Its a good thing for her and he’s on the board and is the chef. Its good for me because I get the house to myself. LOL Generally that week I do a lot of cleaning and purging hahaha Even though we have custody of kiddo, she still has to spend time with her mom and all her grandparents. So, summer is super busy.
These are great! I love bucket lists but sometimes it’s just nice to go by the seat of your pants and do something you wouldn’t normally do just for the sake of doing it.
We absolutely love spending the day drawing! And my oldest is pretty milk obsessed too!
Star gazing and crafts are fun ways we spend our time. Since summers get so hot, I use the milk to make sugar-free instant pudding. It’s always a hit!
These are awesome ideas! Family time is wonderful, but it’s even better when you can incorporate healthy stuff into it!
These are great ideas. I used to star gaze with the kids all the time when they were younger. I will have to go out this weekend and lay in the yard and watch the sky.
We don’t drink milk here in our home. But I am trying to get my son active
Stargazing is a family favorite of ours, as is catching and releasing fireflies! Which reminds me…
In the summer we love to go on night walks and check out the stars. The kids are getting good at being able to identify the stars by name.
There are a lot of great ideas! I would choose star gazing and crafts as a way to spend my time!
