Yesterday, I shared my New Year’s Resolutions for 2014 with you. But did you know that 80% of New Year’s Resolutions are given up on by January 31st? Yikes, those are not good odds!
Usually, we give up on our resolutions because we made such lofty goals that there’s no way we can ever meet them, so we throw in the towel and stop trying. Or at least, that’s what has happened to me in the past. Especially when I put the words “always” or “never” in my resolutions. I’ve found that striving to do better is a more helpful goal than to say that I’ll completely change.
