Pittsburgh Pirates Opening Day Style with Fanatics


When you are born in Pittsburgh, I’m pretty sure your parents sign a contract (possibly in blood) that you will forever bleed black and gold, even if you happen to move away. You have to cheer for the Steelers, Penguins, and of course, the Pirates. See how young we start our fans? Of course, the Pirate Parrot is a great enticement.

Even though I can’t go to the game for the Pirates’ Home Opener, I can still dress the part! This outfit would be perfect for heading to PNC Park. Cute, sytlish, comfortable, and supportive of our Bucs.

I always feel the need to thrown on a pair of sunglasses so I’m not squinting at the game, but a Pittsburgh Pirates hat can help, too. If there’s any chance of rain, I’d swap out my favorite worn-in boyfriend jeans for a pair of Pittsburgh Pirates pants like these ones because wet denim is a terrible feeling.

  2. I have a bunch of friends who moved to Jersey from the Pittsburg area and you all really do take your love of your sports teams seriously. I’m a Philly sports fan so, Go! Phillies, Eagles and Flyers!

  8. Love the themed mani! Here in Georgia, there’s a fierce rivalry between UGA and GA tech. You either bleed black and red or you bleed gold and white!

  13. My BF is a die hard Pirates fan! He is trying to get me into it….which I am not into at all. I mean we are at dinner and he is watching commentary on his phone. Lol. he is buying me a jersey in the hopes it will change me somehow. Lol
