A few weeks ago, I shared with you how hard it is for me to find unique things for my home.
Or how hard it was until I found Erie Drive, whose hand-selected quality home accents and accessories are stylish, unique, and functional.
I loved browsing their site and was able to make a list of my own personal picks and try them out, to see how well they held up in my home. Trying to narrow down what I wanted was the hardest part, since they have such a diverse selection.
I’m sure this will come as such a shock to you(a-hem, pretend you are shocked), but one of the first things that caught my eye were these Globe Wine Glasses. They are personally crafted and have a unique look thanks to the matte polished circular base. They are pretty and sturdy, good for a klutz like me. And they even survived my youngest thinking it was a water glass and drinking out of it, though I wouldn’t quite recommend that. The neighbors give you weird looks when they see a three year-old drinking out of a wine glass, even if it is just water.
Since we can always use extra storage around here, this log basket went on my list. Handwoven and durable, it has many uses. We’ll never really use it as a log basket: I envisioned putting it beside the sofa and it holding our throw blankets. Instead, it ended up beside the door with soccer gear in it. But, it does keep it all contained. At least now there’s something pretty about soccer equipment!
Now, I know a lot of you are coffee drinkers and like your fancy coffee machines. But, I’m a tea drinker. And Erie Drive has one of the prettiest tea kettles around. The translucent tea kettle has a built-in tea strainer. Perfect for those cool nights or mornings.
While I was browsing the travel items available at Erie Drive, I noticed this luggage tag. It comes in pink, orange, and yellow. I have a boring blue suitcase like so many other people and a unique luggage tag makes my bag stand out. I’ll have the pink one on my bag as I travel to Blissdom this week.
The next item on my list of picks was something for my kids. This toothbrush timer is bright and cheery. It comes with a cup which my boys use to store their toothbrushes and an hourglass timer that they flip which is a visual reminder of how long they need to brush their teeth(they also flip it when I’m brushing my teeth and tell me I need to brush mine that long, too!). It’s the perfect accompaniment to the oral health challenge we are doing this month.
The phrase “virtually indestructible and able to sustain all kinds of damage” caught my eye since my boys tend to be rough on everything. So, I thought we’d try Ursa the Bear. My boys have proven that claim correct, though my husband has claimed this item for the desk in his office.
Every item I tested fit in with the unique style that Erie Drive strives for. All are getting lots of use in my house and are items that I would recommend that you check out. They have so much more, too, like the prints I want to decorate my living room walls.

Erie Drive is sponsoring my trip to Blissdom. All opinions are my own.
Looks like cute stuff. I’ll have to check them out.
The tea kettle – love! I’m a tea drinker too.
Nifty! If I get the need for accents, I’ll head that way. I don’t dare go over without need, because I saw wineglasses in your picture list, and I have a plate fetish.
Cute!! I’ll have to go check it out 🙂
At first I totally thought you were going to say that basket was for sending a baby down a river. Only I’ve never really understood how that’d float so well, so good it’s just for logs.
What near items you chose. I love the basket!! That bear is quite cool looking and I remember your tweet of the virtually indestructable claim. Glad it was true.
That is some cute stuff. I will definitely have to check them out!
Love this peek at their cute stuff.
That kettle almost makes me want to drink tea. Almost.
I can see that luggage tag on your suitcase now.
And picture you at Blissdom. While I’m not.
Can you see my sad face all the way over here? 🙁
I love the bear! What a wonderful array of products.
Very cool stuff!
PS: I’ve got my PYHO entry ready early.
Love that tooth brush timer! I know my kids don’t brush long enough so that would be perfect
—-I waaaant those wine/water glasses.
Very nice indeed. 🙂 Thanks for the link.
Of COURSE you put a wine glass at the top of your list! 😉
Now, the tea drinker thing surprises me. Why did I see you as more a coffee girl?
That bear is awesome! I might have to get me one of those…
Sandy
Bright luggage tags are awesome to help your bag stand out when traveling. I lost mine on our latest trip, time to get another one.
I think I have to have that tea kettle. Amazing! I was just cleaning my current one and thinking it looks pretty ghetto. You know how tea in the ghetto is….not good.
I really like that tea kettle! I might have to put it on the Xmas list (yes I shop early) for my Mum.
Love that tea kettle! I pinned it! Have fun at Blissdom. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures 🙂
I think they have great things. I had not heard of them until I read about them on your blog.
Love this, Shell! I’m on such a decorating kick right now – these are fabulous suggestions!
