This is a sponsored post but all opinions are my (and my boys’) own.
I’m just going to go ahead and tell you that my boys think this is the most fun thing we’ve ever received for review.
The Laser X Microblasters provide the fun of laser tag at home. There’s super simple set up and you can play with as few as two players but continue adding on sets so more players can join in. Reloading is as easy as pressing and holding the trigger.
There are lighting and sound effects that make it seem like they’re playing in a laser tag arena.
Players can “blast” their opponents up to 100 feet away with the Laser X Microblasters. With the original Laser X, the range is 200 feet, while the Long-Range Blaster blasts up to 400 feet. So this is definitely a game that can be played outdoors. We’ve found it works a little better if it’s later in the day, rather than in full sunlight (mid-day, it’s a great game for the basement!). There’s also a Gaming Tower with 10 built-in games that my family now wants to check out.
Listen to my boys talk about Laser X and demonstrate it for you:
I like that it gives that video game feel but has my kids up and moving. I also like that additional sets can be added and they all will work together. My boys have already asked for more sets so they can play with friends.
Micro Blasters are recommended for ages 6+ and retail for $29.99 for a double set and $14.99 to equip a single player. The game is available at GetLaserX.com and in Walmart, Target, Costco, and Toys R Us(while TRU is still around- we did see some here this past weekend).
