Keeping the Kitchen Clean with #DitchandSwitch

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Bounty. The opinions and text are all mine.

With three boys under the age of 9, parenting can get more than just a little messy. And the kitchen is the absolute worst. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and all the snacks mean that I’m constantly cleaning up.

And somehow, I always manage to miss some mess in the morning while we’re getting ready for school. It might be a cereal spill or jelly from the sandwiches for their lunch bags. So later, when I inevitably find it, it’s a sticky, glued on mess. One that requires elbow power and a tough towel so that the table and counters are clean for our next meal or to do homework- no messes allowed on homework surfaces!

This fall, for three days, I used a dish towel sent to me from Bounty as part of a challenge to see whether my dish towel was cleaning up messes or really just spreading around germs.

Though I didn’t get my results back as of yet, when I was using that towel, I was hyper-aware that if I used that dish towel to clean up a mess and then simply rinsed it with water, I probably wasn’t doing much of anything to get rid of the germs. I’ll admit, it had me a little freaked out.

I’d much rather use Bounty DuraTowel so I’m not spreading all those icky things around my kitchen. The Bounty DuraTowel feels and cleans like a cloth and is strong enough to handle cleaning countertops, sinks, and even small appliances. Plus, it’s clinically proven to leave surfaces 3x cleaner than a germy dishcloth that could redeposit germs on surfaces you come into contact with throughout the day.

Ew, right? I’m ready to ditch the dishcloth and switch to Bounty DuraTowel. Bounty DuraTowel is available at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, and other stores.

Bounty exposed my dirty dishcloth and showed me the cleaner way to clean with Bounty DuraTowel, the only cloth-like, durable paper towel that is clinically proven to leave surfaces three times cleaner than a germy dishcloth.* Find out more here!
