Glad you are feeling better! I've been going faithfully 2-3 times a week all school-year and running a 5K. That's come to a screeching halt now that the kids are home for the summer…I intend to 30-day shred at home, but that hasn't happened yet… and my mom called me fat last week! Oh the joy! πŸ™‚

  8. Rebecca says

    July 6, 2010 at 7:10 am

That is hysterical…you probably thought they gym was actually trying to kill you! Either way, I hope you're feeling better now.

I got off the treadmill the other day (I typically stick with the elliptical) and I was totally dizzy…almost fell over…like when you get off a boat after a while. It was embarrassing! I almost ran into someone walking in the opposite direction…damn treadmill!

  17. Katina says

  27. Sara says

That's crazy…. I bet you were relieved. Now I would have just faked sickness to be able to never return to the gym again. That is why Hans hates me….

  28. Heidi says

    July 6, 2010 at 10:00 am

Probably one of the only times you've been releived to be sick, huh? Get well soon and kick some bootay at your gym!!! πŸ™‚

  38. purseblogger says

    July 6, 2010 at 11:10 am

As I was reading your post its, I was thinking, I wonder if she was just sick. So while I'm not happy you were, I'm also relieved for you that you were.
I need to go work out too. Ugh!

  39. Kristy says

    July 6, 2010 at 11:18 am

Yes, I was so sore from doing seriously wimpy Wii stuff the other day. I thought, "I either need to never do that again or do it a lot more. A lot."

  40. The Random Blogette says

    July 6, 2010 at 11:43 am

Oh no! So glad that you are feeling better though! I need to hop back on the workout train myself. My last 15 lbs aren't going to just come off by themselves!

  41. Mellodee says

    July 6, 2010 at 11:50 am

You probably picked up some flu-thing at the gym….all those different germs lurking on the equipment!! Yep, that'd be enough for me to swear off gyms forever. I'd rather be fat than sick! πŸ˜‰

  42. Jennifer says

    July 6, 2010 at 12:14 pm

I put my kids to bed at 8:00 last night and David made out like I was cruel for putting them to bed before dark. You get to put yours to bed at 7:30????

And I wrote about exercise today too. And how I almost got attacked by wolves. In my sleep.

  43. Andrea says

    July 6, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Ah the gym…. I have a love-hate relationship with exercise, but I think the hate part stems from the fact that I dont know how to exercise half way. I have to run 3 miles or I feel like a failure. So I just don't exercise πŸ˜‰

  44. Michelle Pixie says

    July 6, 2010 at 12:24 pm

Oh you poor thing! I am glad you are feeling well enough to go to the gym.

  45. Megan says

    July 6, 2010 at 12:45 pm

Ick! What a relief, though. Go get, 'em.

  47. JoJo says

    July 6, 2010 at 12:53 pm

so impressed with your motivation to work out! I'm lucky if I manage to walk up the stairs without having to catch my breath. If you have fever though that's probably your bodies way of telling you that you need to rest. Don't overwork yourself girl!

  48. Sonora says

    July 6, 2010 at 1:53 pm

Oh geez, isn't that just like a mom to not realize WE are sick. I think we get used to a certain level of feeling run down. I'm glad you aren't that out of shape (go you, I haven't been to the gym in closer to 10 years) but I'm sorry you were sick. I hope this time goes better than last!

  49. Aging Mommy says

    July 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm

  55. Melissa says

    July 6, 2010 at 3:26 pm

  56. Cheryl says

    July 6, 2010 at 3:43 pm

For a second there I thought you were going to say that you were pregnant! That's kind of how I found out I was pg with my third: I could barely run three miles, when I'd just finished a marathon a month before. It was so weird! But then I found out why I was soooo tired…

  57. Lourie says

    July 6, 2010 at 4:14 pm

My husband and I just started a blog because our marriage has been going through some rough spots and it just feels so good to get our thoughts out there.

Thanks for having blogs like this so that in entices others to not keep everything inside.
