Goalrilla GAMEMAKER Soccer Goal Review and Giveaway

I was sent a GAMEMAKER soccer goal for review purposes. All opinions are my own. Keep reading for a 20% off discount code plus the chance to win one of your own(valued at $179.99).

We are a soccer family. All three of my boys play and my husband coaches. I’m a soccer mom through and through. Just take a look in the back of my minivan and you’ll find a team’s worth of soccer balls on any given day.

When they aren’t at practice or a game, my boys are kicking a ball around the yard(well, as long as we hide the iPads: GO OUTSIDE, KIDS!).

My husband kept looking at soccer goals for our boys, but hadn’t found one that he thought would be a good fit for our needs: something portable, sturdy, and safe.

We were sent a Goalrilla®  GAMEMAKER to try out. GAMEMAKER is an innovative line of air-pressurized, durable and transportable soccer goals.  It has the appearance and playability of a traditional goal but it’s easily taken from place to place and Goalrilla believes it will reduce the number of goal post related injuries. You can read more about the features of the GAMEMAKER by visiting Goalrilla.

The set up of a GAMEMAKER is supposed to be super easy, with the goal inflating in less than 90 seconds. Let me show you how it worked when we set up this soccer goal.

goalrilla soccer goal

We were sent a 4′ x 6′ GAMEMAKER soccer goal, though there are other sizes available. This size soccer goal is great for the backyard. It fits into the bag shown above that my 8 year old was easily able to carry to the backyard for us.

goalrilla soccer goalThe easy-to-follow directions are inside the bag, where we’ll keep them for future reference, though once you put this portable soccer goal up once, you probably won’t need them again.

portable soccer goal

We laid the goal out on the ground, ensuring the net was not caught on anything and then followed the directions to attach the hose to the soccer goal to inflate it. The same valve is also used to deflate the goal when you want to take it down.

backyard soccer goal

portable soccer goalI put my oldest to work pumping up the soccer goal. BaroForce™ technology enables a rigid goal structure and prevents over inflation. The claim is 90 seconds to inflate and while we didn’t time it, that sounds about right to me. I was very surprised at how quickly the GAMEMAKER was inflated.

portable soccer goalOne last step left- ensuring the soccer goal would stay put: either stakes for the grass or sandbags for turf or indoor use.

And then it was time to play soccer!

Our thoughts on the Goalrilla GAMEMAKER:

  • Super easy set up
  • Compact storage
  • A breeze to transport
  • Sturdy
  • Safe
  • FUN!

The GAMEMAKER comes in various sizes: 6’ X 4’, 8’ X 5’, 12’ X 6’, 24’ X 8’ to suit your needs. The 4′ x 6′ is perfect for our backyard(and maybe to take with us to practice if my youngest gets stuck practicing on the field with no goal again next season). Though my boys would love to have another one to be able to play a backyard soccer game with their friends instead of just practicing with one goal. Maybe if Santa thinks they’re really good that will happen.
