At no cost to me, K’NEX sent me building sets through its Toys “R” Us® Mom Blogger Promotion, and it is hoping that I might like them and write about them. All opinions are my own.
My three boys are all huge Super Mario Brothers fans. Whether they are playing games or watching videos, it’s a bit of an obsession around here with my 9, 7, and 5 year olds. One year, they even dressed as the characters for Halloween. They tried to talk me into being Princess Peach, but I couldn’t find a costume in time. Maybe next year.
But occasionally, I’d like my boys to put the video games and the videos away and do something else.
K’NEX has Super Mario Brothers building sets- which I think is a great way to get my boys interested in putting down the video games, at least temporarily.
With K’NEX Super Mario Thwomps Building Set, my boys can build Fire Mario and escape the Thwomps! With jumping action with exclusive jump panels, smashing action to slam down the Thwomps, and a hidden area to find and battle Bone Goomba, there’s lots to do with this set after it’s built. Recommended for 8+(TRU website says 6-10, I feel like all three of my boys will like it), find it at Toys “R” Us for $64.99.*
K’NEX Super Mario Bowser’s Castle Building Set can be found at Toys “R” Us for $99.99.* Box recommends 8+, website suggests 8-12. Featuring K’NEX’s all new jump disk and launcher that allow Mario to run and jump, like he does in the game- how cool is that?
