It’s more the Things I Can’t Say outloud. At least, not when I first meet another mom on the playground. Can you imagine the looks I’d get?
So that’s what this blog is, a place to spill it all about parenting, marriage, and all things moms have to deal with. Everything you read is always completely me: open, honest, and real, with a lot of heart.
I’m Shell. I live near the coast in North Carolina with my husband and three boys(9, 8, and 6). We aren’t trying for a girl. My boys are always on the move with sports. They also have a bit of an iPad and LEGO obsession. My middle son is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD.
I’m a former teacher turned work-at-home mom as a social media manager/influencer. I’m a former Babble.com blogger and SITS blogger. I was named as a BlogHer 2012 Voice of the Year for parenting. I’ve been a Community Leader at Blissdom and part of #ToyotaWomen, UbiChamps, Chick-fil-a Moms Panel, and Council of Media Moms.
If I can find any spare time, I love the beach, books, and yoga. I wear yoga pants all the time, just in case I can squeeze in some practice- or at least, that’s my excuse.
I love working with brands, so please feel free to contact me about potential partnerships. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org or @shellthings on twitter.
Call me a mommy blogger if you will. I’m a mommy and I blog. But, you’ll find so much more than just posts about parenting here. I spill it all. Be sure to check out my favorite posts.
