About Me

If this is “Things I Can’t Say,” is this blog just blank?

It’s more the Things I Can’t Say outloud. To my friends or relatives. Or to someone I just met at the playground as my boys are playing. At least, not without judgement or bizarre looks for getting so personal.

I needed my own  place to say what I wanted.

So that’s what this blog is.  Everything you read is always completely me: open, honest, and real.

I’m a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom to three little boys(ages 7, 6, and 4). Please don’t ask me if I’m going to try for a girl. Did you see the ages of my kids? I had three kids in the span of less than 3.5 years. I’m done.

My husband was okay with marrying a Yankee, but only because I fell in love with not just him, but with the beach down here in Coastal Carolina.  Since I’m married to a local, I’m only sort of considered an outsider.

What will you find here? As a former teacher, I do occasionally get up on an educational soapbox. I’m not afraid to be honest about how hard it can be to make a marriage work.  Or talk about what I think of the moms who haven’t changed since they were the mean girls in junior high.  Life can be funny or heartbreaking in a house full of boys. One of my boys had lead poisoning and now has PDD-NOS and ADHD. I pour my heart out every Wednesday and encourage everyone to join in.

Oh,and yes, I occasionally refer to myself in the third person when I’m talking about my past because that’s how I deal. But, you can get a steamy an interesting read out of it.

Call me a mommy blogger if you will. I’m a mommy and I blog. But, you’ll find so much more than just posts about parenting here. I spill it all.

Yes, I occasionally do reviews and giveaways, if they fit in with the content and audience of my blog.
