I’ve made excuses.
I have too much work to do.
I don’t have time to get to the gym.
It’s boring to walk around the neighborhood.
I’ll workout tomorrow.
And with colder weather finally coming to NC, it’s easy to think oooh, it’s sweater weather: BULKY sweater weather where I can hide those extra pounds… so maybe I’ll just wait until Springtime to start working out again.
But the truth is, as much as I’ll whine and moan a little when I’m first getting back into a fitness routine, I really do feel better about myself when I’m working out regularly. It’s not just the weight or inches lost, it’s having more energy and feeling stronger.
Which I will repeat over and over to myself as motivation to get my butt back to the gym. Or at least on my bike for a ride around the neighborhood. Or both. At least 3 times a week. *GULP, I can do this, right?*
If I’m not joining in a group class like Zumba, then I definitely need music while I work out.
Which means I need headphones, since apparently not everyone in the gym or my neighborhood wants to hear my music. They should since country music is awesome(especially some “old school” Dixie Chicks, my choice of kick-butt, get my butt moving music), but I guess it’s not good manners to share music like that. Which I may or may not have found out when I first got my iPhone and didn’t have my earphones plugged all the way in.
I was sent a pair of yurbuds Inspire for Women Sport Earphones to review. They are developed for women with FlexSoft™ and TwistLock™ technologies for comfort and to guarantee that they will never fall out!
I followed the directions to insert them into my ears and was pleasantly surprised to find that they really did fit comfortably and securely in my ears.
Though I discovered that to use them with the Lifeproof case on my iPhone, I did need to use the adapter that came with the Lifeproof case(as is the case with another set of earphones I had tried, but just to make you aware in the event you have a Lifeproof case on your phone- try the adapter!).
Now, to make good use of these at the gym!
Yurbuds Giveaway
Yurbuds Inspire for Women Sport Earphones can be found exclusively at Target for $29.99. One winner will sent pink yurbuds. US 18+ only, please.
I was sent a pair of yurbuds for review. No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

I can’t manage to get to a regular gym where people are staring at me either, but a few months ago Teach and I joined Curves. She has lost 27 pounds! I’ve lost a whole size and developed a lot more muscle and six definite pounds. I’ve never been big into earbuds but those look like nice ones.

Once upon a time I thought my ears were normal….but then I discovered they are weird. (or one is, specifically my right ear). I have never found an ear bud that would stay put there!! (although I’m a cheapo and have never tried really good ones)

Hadn’t heard of these. I need to find something that works because we’ve tried a lot of different brands and they either fall out or have a short life. I say this with angst as my son just informed me another pair of ear-buds has bit the dust.
