Sometimes I feel like I’m in a holding pattern.
Not really going anywhere or accomplishing anything, but wanting more.
Then I realize: there’s power in the stillness, in the in-between.
In yoga, we reach skyward and then swan dive down, reaching for the ground below.
Then we lift up halfway and pause, stretching forward, thinking about form. There isn’t even a fancy name for what we’re doing.
But we do it and then dive back down, now able to go deeper than we had before.
It took that pause, that moment of nothingness, to get where we wanted to go.
